***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

Little reason not to update to 4.3, everything is working properly now on PA.

Luckily, PA removed the Google update thing, so that shouldn't be a problem in the future (the System updates page is now for ParanoidOTA).

Yeah, CM is now on 10.2 for some devices, and a wipe would be best.

My SGS4 just died on me, came back to my N4, flashed 4.3 Rasbean and Trinity wow, it just feels so much smoother than the S4! Forgot how fluid and fast the N4 was. 4.3 is a nice little update, using active notifications as well which is very good for when I'm at work etc and the screen turns on to display notification. How I've missed the AOSP browser it's just a bliss to use.

A few days ago I rooted my N4 for the first time (had it for just under 5 months now) and I am currently running CM 10.2 16/08 nightly with the latest Franco Kernel (176 I think).
However, I can no longer use the menu button? By that I mean the button with the 3 dots that appears next to the back, home and recent apps buttons. I can't use the Sky Sports Score Centre app because of this!
Is this normal or did I do something wrong? Another app I've noticed the button is in is Shazam.

Is anyone's signal dropping out entirely since updating to 4.3? I lose mine a couple of times a day and have to reboot to get it back. It's pretty fundamental to a phone that it has signal. Grr.

Yes I use 2g only now at home to get full signal all the time. Tbh the signal in the phone is not great as I have a work BlackBerry on the same network which is full bars on 3g all the time

Yep I've had to reboot a few times. Signal comes back once I've done it. But it's still annoying.

I've had the phone go completely dead on me three times already as well. Need to do a hard reboot every time. Why do I have to wait 30 seconds holding the 2 buttons anyway? Surely 10 seconds would be enough...

I've had something like that, if I go to an area completely free of signal, it will not reconnect when I come back out. Air plane mode does the same thing. Need to reboot for it to work again.

Playing around with kernels endlessly, and to be honest, I see little reason to move away from stock with 4.3.

I'm eagerly awaiting 4.3 AOKP, which after many weeks they've finally announced....nothing of note. Just that they are working on it.

Quite looking forward to seeing how 4.3 plays with the N4. I installed the stock 4.3 on my GN before i sold it to have a play and it was noticeably quicker!
