No idea chap, it changed to 'Out for delivery' at midnight although the tracking page showed it being shipped earlier yesterday morning, just doesn't look like it updates quickly. If yours shows 2nd September as deliver by date I am pretty sure you should get it by then.

Didn't realise he had 2nd Sept as estimated date. Then there's his answer.
If people get it earlier then it's just the roll of the dice. The fat discount should make you happy enough

True... But don't agree with paying £8.99 for delivery, which in 99% instances would mean next day service. So will make thing about that with Google and get my delivery cost refunded.
Its kinda irrelevant really, do they charge £8.99 for delivery or price the thing ten quid higher and say free delivery.

Can't believe people are only just getting this phone! Fair enough they are cheaper now.. I've had it since its launch and I still love it just as much as I did when I got it.. Best phone I've ever owned.. I'll be grabbing the new one when its released too

It was still a bargain with its original price considering what you got for the money.. But yes even more so now!

It's the only phone a year later that I don't actually need replaced, but after having the HTC one for a month, I so badly want toreplace it. TThough I have no need. Unlike my gnex which needed it so badly after a year

Exactly.. Its still a great resolution screen, quad core 1.5ghz and 2gb ram andreno 320, pure vanilla android, People saying the screen isn't that good.. Try a different kernel and calibrate the colours etc.. Looks smashing on mine now.

Trust me, when I say the HTC one screen blows it away. I thought the n4x had the best ips display on a phone, that isn't the iPhone till I got the play with the HTC one. It's miles and miles ahead. And the nexus 4 screen is superb, esp when using faux clock, so imagine how good the HTC one is, without calibrating the HTC screen

Anyone heard of dbrand? They produce skins for the back of the nexus 4.. Carbon fiber.. Leather and titanium style.. I might order one they look fantastic.. Some videos on YouTube too..

I ordered Wednesday morning when delivery was 1-3 days, laterin the day it then went to ships on the 2nd of September. I thought that was fair enough due to the huge amount of orders they must have received.
BUT! Looking on Hotukdeals it seems people who ordered on Thursday were even receiving theirs yesterday and others that ordered yesterday have had theirs shipped.
My order is still saying pending
. I have been on the phone to Google twice where they have been super polite but have not followed up after the phone calls as promised. They did say payment had gone through correctly but I am just worried I will have my order cancelled.
Sorry just wanted to have a bit of a rant, thought I would be playing with my ne Nexus this weekend .

I've been reading some of the posts on hotukdeals regarding this and it was like going back in time nine months, loads of orders being sent out in the wrong order and people speculating as to why, is it because I selected to link it to my account? Etc etc...
It's a shame they've learnt absolutely nothing.
My advice, stop contacting them and just try to forget about it until it arrives.
So I've unlocked and rooted my nexus 4 now using the nexus root toolkit, but when i plug it in I can't get it to connect as a media device so i can put some music on etc.
Do i have to uninstall the drivers and re install the defaults to get it working? or is there an easier way?
