Ordered about an hour ago and card has been charged which doesn't happen until it's shipped...so hoping a shipping email is on it's way :)

8GB for my Dad at christmas, needs to get away from his Nokia 6610! :p
 
Both the 8GB (£159) and the 16GB (£199) are now showing as "Ships by September 10, 2013."

Looks as if they had a sudden rush on these! ;)
 
Its a shame to see they don't seem to have sorted out their shambles ordering system, I was really hoping they would have learnt and it would all go smoothly when they launch the next model.
 
My 16gb was picked up by Parcelforce at 4.30pm this afternoon, so hopefully it'll be in Norn Ireland by Saturday.

Arguably better display, better custom ROM support, better official support, arguably better form factor, and has more powerful hardware. Doesn't sound like a downgrade to me, sounds like a move to a more suitable device for the user.

It isn't a case of one device being "better" than another.

Agreed, the note 2 is a nice phone but they have different advantages. Personally I prefer the n4 but for the wife I'd get the note 2 - but she has her eye on the new htc :-)
 
Well I find the Note 2 is a great phone but far too cumbersome on night outs etc. I tend to carry my iPad with me anyway so the phone is mostly used for whatsapp, spotify and the odd browse.

Not sure what happened with my order. It was cancelled and I could not reorder so I had to setup a new account to order
 
Looks like mines been shipped, checking the parcelforce tracking number it seems as if it was loaded into a vehicle for delivery at 7.49.. So it could very well be coming today :D
 
Went from Pending for the last 2 days to shipped last night at midnight, received it this morning at 7:30, first time I've ever had Parcel Farce arrive that early but saves me a 20 mile trip to the depot.
 
I ordered mine 2days ago and still showing up as pending...

Don't understand how Google operate as you BruceLee have received it already. On top of this they charge £8.99 for delivery.
 
I wouldn't trust the pending status, you'll probably get it today or tomorrow.


Some people had theirs in their hands for a weeks and it still said pending on Google.

O right... Didn't realise that. Will check my account to see if money has come out, suppose that will be a good indication.

EDIT: Checked account and no money has been taken out... This is crazy, company like Google can't even process orders in a correct manner.
