***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

Can't make my mind up to order one or not, my Desire S is really getting old and slow now, I don't need 16gb and the 8gb is out of stock, not sure if I should wait and see how much the nexus 5 is going to be or if I should just get a 16gb while they have them in stock :(

Just do it, I upgraded from my htc desire and its fantastic! Being able to install apps without having to hack them onto a slow sd card is a great feeling as well :D

If value is important to you at all (which I'm guessing it is as you're still carrying a Desire S), then definitely get a 16gb. I've heard 8gb aren't coming back in stock.

I had the Desire S before too and it was a great upgrade. For £199 it's a total no brainer - unless you feel like you need 4G any time soon

It's not so much value as the question of do I really need a new phone, while the Desire S is very slow at times it still does everything I need it to, I have a feeling if I buy the N4 I'll end up wishing I had spent the money on something else instead in a few months time. 8GB is plenty for me too, absolutely no need for me to have 16GB whatsoever.

Had nexus 4 since launch 8gb, moved onto other phones but resorted back to the nexus 4 as nothing else could come close to it for me personally.

With the most recent minor update, my phone keeps restarting randomly. Once every few hours.

Doing a google search shows that it is a very old problem with no fixes. Anyone else experiencing this?

Got my Nexus 4 to replace an S3 (just for the change), but after using it for an hour I think I am going to stick with the S3 for one main reason. On the S3 the email app let me set a peak and off peak schedule, so that when off peak (11pm-8am) it wouldn't sync emails on either my exchange account or imap account. On the Nexus this option isn't available and I need to have this for when I am on call as I need the phone on sound so I can hear it if it rings, but I do not want to be woken up by annoying emails at stupid o clock.

Might give it to my mum to upgrade her from a Desire C or I may just sell it straight on (its an 8GB model).

Try K-9 mail. That has a quiet time setting.

That one won't connect to my exchange account at all.

Found a semi solution using lite flow and having the notifications for emails done by that as it has a sleep timer. Only issue with that I can see is I then have to have the same sound for both work and personal emails when I prefer no sound for personal.

Will continue playing for now.

Just did a quick google, will this do what you want?
