24 hours after update.

Battery had died last night after I got home from work which was odd... one of the benefits is supposed to be improved battery right?
Woke up this morning to find the Google Now Launcher disabled. Pressed the home button once and it re-enables. Everything back to normal.

A bit strange so far, seems to have had several hiccups, but none that have repeated.

Yes, that's exactly my issues.
 
So after shattering my screen and subsequently the digitiser, I've replaced the screen etc - can anyone comment on how good the Nexus 4 buffers are, or indeed recommend a decent protective case? Ideally one that offers good protection without being too chunky/intrusive.

I tried a bumper for a while on my N4 and found it felt like it added a load of unnecessary bulk, also felt totally at odds to the feel of the glass underneath it.

I now just use a dbrand rear skin. It doesn't offer any drop protection but makes the phone easier to hold, stops it sliding around your desk and stops the back getting scratched up. Looks quite nice too I think. Just have to be extra careful handling the phone!
 
I've been using Mahdi rom for this phone for a while now and it has LockScreen Notifications which is one of the most useful features I've found in a custom rom.

Any one having problems with 4.4? My friend says her phone will randomly reboot at least once a week and at times get stuck in a boot loop. No custom ROMs/tinkering.

I've got a stock ROM, but mine is rooted and some modifications and it runs flawless.
 
Had the update last night.lost root:(but was expecting that.radio was updated and this morning SEEMS pants,less signal.might be area I am....hopefully

I'm running the latest build and totally recommend it. The notifications on lockscreen feature, in the other hand, doesn't offer a good user experience if you use a PIN code to unlock the phone :(

By the way, does any of you guys use a wireless charger? I have an issue: from time to time, when I use my wireless charger, it messes up my phone preventing it from entering into deep sleep. I have to reboot it to solve the issue. I believe it was a know issue one year ago but have no idea if it's been solved?
