Standard ROM running Dashclock widget notifying me of everything I need!

Also has a Daydream of the same for when charging. :)

I sometimes use a wireless charger, not had any problem using it....so far
What charger you using?
Am using the M-Cloud charger here

I'm running the latest build and totally recommend it. The notifications on lockscreen feature, in the other hand, doesn't offer a good user experience if you use a PIN code to unlock the phone :(

Hmmmm, never thought of that as I don't use any screen security as my phone is never anywhere where I need to use it.

When I posted that PA hadn't released the code for Peek. They have now and I've used it and I like it. It's stuff like that that makes me always put a custom rom on a phone over any stock rom.

Exactly, it's good to see something first then see something similar that comes along after which is so much better!
But yeah custom ROM over stock any day of the week! this is why I love Android :D

Strange question time...

I've got an unlocked Nexus 4 with a 3g Orange sim only card in it.

I've just upgraded my wife's old Xperia Go to a LG G2 on EE with 4g data.

Can I use the 4g sim card in my Nexus 4 to get 3g data, as I know the N4 doesn't support 4g, and there's no 4g reception in my area anyway, lol?!

Hopefully I can, as I'm pinching her G2 and donating my N4 to her...

Yes.

Think I posted on here, possibly on the previous page, about my friend's N4 and a boot loop issue. Last time it eventually went away and she carried on. The boot loop has come back and it's been almost 24 hours with no change. I can't get into recovery (get a "no command" when I try.

This phone is completely stock; no root, no custom recovery and no ROMs. Will I be able to flash a previous stock ROM without losing data?

Having no luck whatsoever. Followed a couple of guides relating to the issue but CMD commends weren't working so tried the Nexus Root Toolkit. Even more problems with this - almost every download it tries fails because of an MD5 mismatch even if I download official images from Google manually. Eventually installed some images but it still gets stuck on the boot loop and recovery is still broken. ADB side load won't work either.

installed the OTA update then lost root(as expected)then used Wugs Nexus root toolkit to regain root, easy peasy :D
Small update though, what is it supposed to fix/make better?

I think if you Google it and follow the instructions there should be one part where you have to clear **** memory (can't remember). It should help you get outta the boot loop. What about a hard reset?

Gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I broke it, not my phone that working fine. My sim !!

I installed Xposed Framework and since then I get no service from giffgaff on my phone. It says "Sign in to network - giffgaff) on the notifications bar. When I click it it takes to me a chrome browser page where it says web page is not available.

I now cannot get on to www.giffgaff.com either, is it a big outage or just the world transpiring against me.
