***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

It's still a well specced phone for the age, so I'm not sure why I was expecting it to perform poorly... Runs great! :D
Phone wiped and started from scratch, had never done it since new so good chance to bin all the crap I'd installed.

Hoping to see some battery life improvements!

I updated with the system image and works extremely smoothly. Though I forgot to remove the "-w" switch and so it obviously removed all my data!

Thankfully it was mostly backed up to Dropbox or Google+

They do it in gradually larger batches over the course of a couple of weeks usually; each phone is assigned a 'key' essentially and it's only when your 'key' is part of the current batch that it gets the update. Constantly checking for updates manually won't do anything, your phone will get it pretty-much as soon as it's eligible to. :)

Nexus 4 = Bigger screen, 1GB more ram, Faster processor, Better camera
ehm....YES a bargain

Screen only marginally bigger on the N4. From what I understand, Windows doesn't need the extra ram or faster processor because it isn't a system hog like Android. The only reason I'm asking is I'm considering going the other way N4 to Lumia 830/930. Sick of the random battery drain that I get on the N4. The only Android devices that interest me now are the z3c or the Moto X 2014. The Moto is a fair amount more expensive than either of the lumias.

Having never tried Windows Phone, it looks good, just a little short on apps.
