***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

Yeah! looking on the Factory Image Repository (I was getting my Nexus 7's image) There's everything from Nexus 7 (2012) except any Cellular Tablets and the Nexus 4!

Coming soon..

Annoyingly I've had a raft of app updates this morning, and now my back/home/apps buttons don't work. I assume it's to do with apex launcher

edit - very odd, soft buttons work in landscape and I can 'google now' in portrait. In dev mode I can see that my touches are picked up in the softbutton zone. Looks like a common problem on 4.4.4. Hopefully 5 will fix it otherwise I'll be getting a new phone!

Commence hammering of "Check for updates" button!

Even though it's totally pointless doing so because the phone checks for updates itself so regularly anyway.

Just fastboot flashed the stock lolipop image on to my nexus 4, its taking ages to boot up ?

All im getting is the coloured dots spinning about ?

clockwork recovery doesnt seem to work with lollipop currently.

I flashed the custom recovery but after a restart it went back to stock recovery. Will try TWRP recovery if its the same

EDIT: No joy for Clock 6.0.4.7 nor TWRP 2.8.1.0 recovery for me.

EDIT2: PEBKAC issue. I forgot to apply root after using the custom recovery

Thats normal until you root it, its not an issue with the recovery as such but Lollipop will re-flash the stock recovery on each boot. Pretty sure the same happened in Kitkat too.

Yeah you are right about root after flashing custom recovery. Silly me trying to flash custom recovery without root lol
