I was helping my girlfriend tidy up some of her Dad's spare rooms at the weekend and I stumbled upon a cuthroat and a DE razor glued onto some green felt and shoved into a wooden frame. I can only assume it's one of those pants decorative items found hanging on local pub walls.
Anyway I managed to "unglue" both of them from the felt, the straight razor has quite a big nick so I'm not sure it's serviceable but the DE might still work.
I need to sterilize and give it a go.
Pics might be interesting
What are people's favourite DE blade? I've tried the Feather and Derby blades so far and found that the Feathers were a little too sharp and gave me razor rash, whereas the Derby blades seemed about right, they provided a close enough shave without any discomfort or redness.

Personna Med Prep for me. If they Derby blades work for you, use them! Don't feel that you have to use Feathers, it's not compulsoryWhat are people's favourite DE blade? So far I've found Persona Platinum and feather to be brilliant in a 34c, with feathers being the best. This is trying with a few different soaps, but Mitchells Wool Fat is brilliant, even with fairly hard water.
Feathers have suited me best also. I want to try those med prep ones feek mentions though.
