Thank you very much for that.I wouldn't recommend using msconfig for service handling, rather:
Right click My Computer > Manage
Services & Applications > Services
Double Click "NVIDIA Stereocopic 3D Driver Service"
Click "Stop" if the service is running
Set the Startup type to "Manual" or "Disabled" depending on whether you use 3D for other games.
Click OK and exit out of the Management window.
You can reverse the settings to get your 3D back if needed with out having to reboot.

Doubt it will work correctly all the way through. The levels folder alone on my Steam version is 10GB and there's no obvious references to any specific language files. The videos are 8GB and the models folder is about 5GB. I can't see any way they could get the game ripped down to 10GB at all. The voices won't have been done in different languages so the other supported languages are only going to be in the game as text anyway.
It is probably extremely compressed. When the game gets unpacked it will be 20 GB most likely.
