2560x1440 max settings = 2754mb of v-ram usage.... :eek:

and 2Gb is meant to be enough...

Agreed. Silly bug, how could they not notice that one? I also get a weird corruption when the screen flashes between scenes. It's bizarre.

I played a bit of multiplayer but probably won't spend much time with that. If they release some single player story / dlc I will be all over it.

No idea, it seems to have a huge Vram usage according to the in game readout. If that is accurate I have no idea...

It is different. It's missing the noir feeling too it and is lacking the noir comic story. But still very fun to play.

It is pretty true to the series. So far it has been a series of setpieces with bullet-time with a cringe-worthy voiceoever on top. Great! I am really enjoying it so far. The shooting mechanics are pretty poor though, it is basically just Red Dead Redemption tbh.

The dialogue is unbelievable! :eek:

^The noir feeling is certainly still there, just not as prominent.

Is anyone playing this on a rig similar to the one in my sig?. If so, how is it running?. My monitor won't go above 1440x900 so I'm assuming I'll be fine?. Don't want to grab such a huge download and then find it runs like treacle.

Why they have 8GB of video for cutscenes is beyond me, I mean they switch to actual in game visuals half way through them and they look way better than the video. Guess it must be to deter pirates via a huge download.

Calm down i havent played it and i know that aint true. Doesnt MP3 take about 8hrs to finish compared to skyrims 100+.

Just make sure " Enable Compatiblity with modified Direct 3D run time libraries " Is ticked after adding a new profile for Maxpayne Exe then clicking the spanner
