In game engine cutscenes would equal a massive fail for me. Max Payne's story should be told through the comic panels.
The original Max Payne was one of the most memorable games I've ever played. 2 wasn't bad either but I can't remember that much about it.
Can't wait for this!
Both 1 and 2 had in-engine cutscenes, but they were brief and to the point (for example, introducing semi-important villains such as Kaufman and Lupino).
GTA4 style would be a disaster but its looking like that is where most of the 35GB is going which makes sense as no way would they deliver a modern game with that high res texturesIn game engine cutscenes would equal a massive fail for me. Max Payne's story should be told through the comic panels.
The bulk of the story was delivered in the comic strips. The swooshing zooming up on badies to introduce them, I'd hardly call cutscenes.
Am i the only person who thinks this looks, from the trailers on tv anyway, like it has been turned into GTA? Max Payne was Film Noir. This isnt.

I fell the same way as bakes, MP should be all about the living the story.
Nerusy: unfortunately the information put out so far has been focused on the multiplayer, the seamless storyboard (that now appears to be transitioned videos in between level loading) and tweaked game mechanics, practically diddly squat has been said about one of Max Paynes main unique selling points, it's story line.
