I remember Apple had issues with an iPad, they claimed it was the adhesive not yet dry.

However my SP3 screen is better today, so I'm hoping it will become perfect. Otherwise O'll get a replacement organised on Monday.
 
Had a mis-hap in the car the other day, managed to spill quarter of a bottle of milk into a storage compartment.

My Surface was in this compartment. Realised about 3 minutes after the milk spilled.

Amazingly, the Surface seems to be working fine, besides the HDMI port (very rarely used it). The keyboard has had it though, washed that in water as I would never stand the smell.

Going to take the Surface apart to clean it properly. I'm amazed it's still working though, milk poured out of it when I lifted it out; and it was on at the time!

yikes. that's lucky. i puked on mine in december. wasn't until the next day i realised my surface was under my bed where i puked and was covered. luckily it all worked fine with the exception of the mousepad being a bit hit and miss. had to replace keyboard only and was very grateful.
 
Right, my touch cover is 100% dead.

Not sure which to go for. Type cover 2 or touch cover 2.

I found the touch 1 a little annoying at times, but loved the thin profile..


Anyone had both touch covers?
 
I've had the original touch cover and the type cover 2, I'd pick type cover all day long, however the touch 2 has more sensors on it so should be better than the original, I cant see it being better than any of the type covers though..
 
What's the failure rate on these like, the Surface 3 Pro is around £550 in USA but it won't have any warranty over here?

Never had a type cover with my RT but will be getting one too come august.

Will also be getting the dock as I intend to replace my PC with this too.
 
I'm so glad I got mine on a damned good deal, so narked at having to bloody wait for it while you guys get imports lol
 
My freedomcase just arrived very impressed even if you need a degree in origami to use it lol but it actually makes the surface pro useable on my lap now :) Time to sell the ipad mini retina haha
