Basically, MS made the biggest oversight possible.
Is their other tablets that can even recognise and run an external USB drive in any form?
Well guess you should sell it then.
What relevance is it that you don't use optical media?
How am I overreacting? I'm annoyed, it's an oversight, the limitation in the USB port has dozens and dozens of threads on the MS Forums because peoples equipment doesn't work "on the go" as it should.
A tablet that costs 250 quid has more expansive USB capacity than my tablet which costs triple price to match the keyboard.
It does however work for portable hard drives which is what the majority of people will be using it for.
