*** The Official Microsoft Surface Thread ***

I use my tablet pretty exclusively for Netflix and videos etc, and tend to just use the speakers, as I'll be doing something else, and it's not really as enjoyable as the RT was, as the speakers were far better.

I'll live, but meh, can only keep it on 70 at the most.

Wait a few months then return it, there might be a revision out by then.
Hoping the lumia gets better reviews. Really interest in the screen usability in sunlight.

Bluetooth speakers?

Looks like HP are to be releasing a tablet that looks to be right up my street - a 10" tablet, running full 8.1 with a 10" 1920x1080 IPS screen and ok CPU (ok it's still Atom, but at least it's Bay Trail). RRP? £350. Sounds quite the bargain, even with the Asus Transformer at the same price - guess that priorities will come to the fore as the HP doesn't have very convincing accessories.

Still, says it's released in November, and Tesco are listing it, though no ETA.

Oh, it's called the Omni 10 (don't really want to link as HP are a competitor I guess...)

I've gone and bought a 128GB Surface, I determined 4gig of ram is plenty, my desktop PC only has 4GB and that takes everythig I throw at it.

Hurts a bit the 900 pounds, I went and got it from PC World as I getg a £50 voucher from them.

I bought the keyboard that has the actuall keys, however for some reason the ALT + F keys does not work, it's always as if the function key is pressed??

Selling my Xperia Z Tablet for 300 pounds with a 32GB SD Card to a friend, the quality of this Surface seems amazing too.

Whoops, just purchased a Surface Pro 2 to replace my Surface Pro.

Price was too cheap to ignore on eBay. £550 for 128GB.

Not 100% sure if I will keep the Surface 2 yet.
