I see the mircosoft site says the 256 GB model be be delivered by the 15 dec you can now order it but you only get 1 year warranty want to buy it from john Lewis to get the 2 year warranty but who knows when I'll get it.
Wish John Lewis had a pre order an estimate date for delivery bit fed up not bought a new gadget for over 2 months lol.

Been watching some youtube gaming videos looks great can't wait to get it.

Pro2 has arrived, copied all my data over, the only thing thats not working properly is Bubble Blast, on the Pro I'm on 26/58 yet on the Pro2 its picked up 17/70..
Theres no way I'm going to go through that many levels again just because its failed to sync properly, I lost about 5 levels when I went from RT to Pro but losing 10+ packs is just a no go lol...
 
Nice Trig lets us know how you get on with your surface 2 pro 256 GB sucks losing the game levels though will get mine in late December I hope that be my Christmas present to myself.
 
Does anyone know what type of clip in speaker type things I can get for this?
Logitech does one, but it's so fat, and I just want something slim like a Wii sensor bar type thing, but with audible sound.

It seems a touch faster but that's maybe because I haven't loaded all my stuff up to it yet or because its the new shiny placebo effect..
As for losing levels, trying to get ti to sync properly wiped the ****ing lot, over 2600 levels...

That's easy john lewis can't beat having 2 year warranty got keep stopping myself ordering the 128 GB I've just got to be patient for the 256 GB I might pay the extra to get 3 year warranty seeing as it will be a nightmare to repair the surface an very expensive.
Seen few places giving £25 vouchers but always with just 1 yr warranty if you planning to upgrade in 12 months time though go for the vouchers.

Got my Type Cover 2 today, I say its an absolute must, Perfect for typing and its not as Bulky as I expected tbh.

I love the typoe 2 cover, so much better than the touch covers.
Just be interesting now to see the power type cover thing...
 
Does anyone here with a Surface 2 play FM on there laptop/desktop? Would it be possible for you to see how it performs via remote desktop/splashtop during a match please.

I wasn't asking for people to play it directly on the surface 2, I know full well it can't.

I'm asking for someone to load the game on a desktop or laptop and then use remote desktop to see how it performs on the surface. I've done it on the Ipad but it can't cope when your playing a match in 3D as well as not fitting the screen well.

Agh, I've been looking at doing game streaming like that, the Tegra 4 (As per shield) should be up to it, but it's the software I'm concerned about really, what you going to use, Splashtop?
