****The Official Mountain Bicycle Gallery Thread****

Sun is out, it's warm and there's a nice breeze so decided to have a short 20k along the canal. Went the the other way this time, turned right and headed towards Stone.

Really wish I lived somewhere on the coast like @mrk, but I guess you make do with what you have.

It's all about enjoying the surroundings (which are genuinely excellent from sunrise onwards this time of year) too whilst being able to ride off road at the same time. Bike parks during the summer and/or QECP...

Today's 6am 19 mile ride and a pit stop to collect the senses along with a bit of local "Banksy" lol.

Pretty much finished with the build now, should have the front wheel turning up tomorrow (Same make/model as the rear). Then its just some finishing touches to be made with a Nukeproof seat clamp in bronze and some SlikGraphics custom fork/shock/wheel decals to complement the rest of the colour scheme. Running a dream at the moment! May change to Schwalbe tyres for Scotland trip later in the summer (Mary front/Betty rear, both in 2.6). However, the Minions are doing me solid for now. Forks will also be upped to 180mm come service time later in the year.

Started to ride out in the evenings now hitting the valley park along the coast and bits in and around. The views still impress and it's so mellow with weather like Sunday's here. Perfect.

Looks like your bike has been killed by a fiat 500!

Great photos en route!

It was a photo op that had to be done, childish but.... yeah :p

Was nice riding around the local conservation areas yesterday eve. Our parks here aren't huge, but they are nice and chill and quite a few woodland trails tucked deep within to kick dust and loose bits through, quite hilly in some and a number of drops too which is nice
