I have another 920 on route, this time in Yellow. :D

It is a rebrand and they all are fully integrated. It is also a silly name

I don't think it's a silly name. These are world wide and they probably have to be careful what they call them. Re-branding them also means they can get them into other devices and other operating systems.

You haven't got Skype installed have you, twice now I have installed it and it has caused chaos with other apps, rampant battery drain and heat issues.

I do, and I never use it. I might uninstall and see what the effect is.*

I always turn off location unless I need it for maps or something, so presumably the bing thing shouldn't be an issue

Yesterday I got home with 80% battery life, which blew my mind. The whole "drain your battery and recharge it" thing seems to work very well.

All my Nokia map apps have been renamed HERE maps/drive/city lens after updating them :/ I assume this is a rebrand. If it is its a very silly rebrand.

I woudlnt say silly given Nokia have now made it so that its not Nokia exclusive so HTC users can have it as well, no doubt given there is unlikely to be any official Google Map offerings I'd say Nokia (maybe being pushed by MS) choosing to let others use the Drive/Maps etc is a good move for the entire platform..

Good point. It may have been better calling it 'There' as in 'there it is that is where I want to go.' Now I'm being silly. I'll get my coat.

What can you do on the natwest banking app?
Can you transfer cash etc?

Any other banking apps?
Is that Barclays current account or cpbarclays credit card?

I am not sure about the Natwest app, as I don't bank with them.

RBS have a app in the market place. HSBC have also confirmed that a banking app is on route.

The Barclays will be the same as what's in the app store / google play I believe.

The RBS is apparently only for Scottish account holders only - see review.

My missus is with Natwest and it does allow bank transfer, pay personal bill, and even 'get cash' in case you lose your card / forgot. Very useful compared to others.

Do you know if you can do bank transfers on any off them?
Thinking of moving banks, HSBC is crap you have to jump through tons of hoops.

Lloyds TSB is still 'looking into it' - to be honest, their mobile website is fine as it is, but a little annoyed they're not doing something.

How does get cash work? that's really useful I do forget my wallet quite often when in my work garb.

You sign in, you request (think it's up to £100) and the app gives you a code and you type the code into a Natwest machine (there is an option without card).

Missus haven't tried it, it is a feature to Natwest, even without an app, you can call and they give you the codes after going through a security check.

Thanks, will have to check natwest out. It sounds superb. I fact I think I have a really old natwest account if ican. Find the info and upgrade it to current account.

has anyone noticed that your text messages seem to "disappear" after the portico update?

yesterday I sent 3 text messages to different people. This morning I looked and those messages were just "gone"!

Nope. Never seen this. Only explanation would be that the time stamps on the texts were wrong due to you possibly having auto time update switched on on an incompatible network.

Settings -> time and date -> automatic clock. If you are on Vodafone, O2, giffgaff or Tesco then have it switch ON. Otherwise have it OFF.
