More praise in post, using the phone in bright sunshine for the first time this year and the screen has gone super bright and I can see everything perfectly, excellent!
 
I doubt it was sunlight, more likely he was in a tunnel with a train bearing down on him as he hit the submit button, I doubt we'll be hearing from him again lol...

I have to agree, the sunlight mode is bloody excellent!

I thought something was wrong with my screen at first but then realised what it was doing.

Yea its a bit mad, thought my screen was going to blow up they way it goes like that.
 
Well mine arrived yesterday, really liking it. I've had 3 or 4 android handsets now in a row and was bored. Nothing wrong with the sgs3 but happy to hand it over to the wife, this feels really fresh and usable, extremely intuitive. Plus it looks pretty next to my surface pro.

And yay. We need a new high end phone. Be nice if it was a 920 replacement and the EOS.
 
Im really kinda stumped as to what this could be.

Cant see it being a phablet, be more surprised if it was a tablet.

So that leaves a new high end successor to the 920, which is pretty quick unless they are doing a preview of what's coming with a late release date.

Thinking about it more, is it me or has okia gone full nuclear now?..how many phones have the got out since Nov?

520, 620, 720, 820, 920 and the 928 destined for the US, and I think I seen a 528 for t-mob stateside as well, now this.

Also, that image has to be a hint at something, Nokia don't do things like that for the sake of it, they have so many Easter Eggs in the past with very cryptic messages.

Whatever it is, as long as it's good enough to push WP8 to the wider public, I'm not fussed.

But please don't be so good that I want to sell my 920 and get it, I've still 18 months on contract!
 
I wouldn't say its nuclear, or even to many phones. its simnply one at every price level. I would say its still not enough.
Samsung not only have one at every level but several.
 
Nokia 928 Launch in May apparently from research i've done, xenon flash oled screen all other spec same as 920 and all of 0.5mm thinner i should add.

Hoping to sell my iPhone 4s to go to the Nokia phone, may hold out for this 928 or just jump straight onto the 920 wagon.
Starting to get bored of the iPhone os and form factor, no more innovation from Apple as yet.
Seriously lacking in things like nfc..wireless charging..etc, whereas these beasts have all this and a much better camera too with ois pureview :D
 
Any Metrogram or WPGram users?

I'm having problems viewing images... neither are displaying any. Anyone else having issues?
 
I hope the announcement isn't something to make me regret just sorting a 24 month contract on a 920 for my wife. :mad:
 
Nothing that much, to be honest the 920 is doing such a good job I dont think Ill be upgrading till we see what improvements MS bring to WP8 for the rest of the year.
