I usually run a mile from 24 month contracts, but I'm so happy with my 920 and my wife has been happily using an LG running WP7 for several months, that I wasn't too bothered about signing her up to 2 years with a 920.

She just got her confirmation email and she should have her red 920 tomorrow! :D

I'm looking forward to playing with the 'Family Room' features.

Stupid things I've done today, out in the sunshine, couldn't unlock the phone, reset it, then realised I had my thumb over the light sensor, so the phone thought it was dark, and it was actually unlocked. :/

Even though I am more than happy with my 920 and WP8, I am also very happy to be on a 12 Month contract so when the new tech comes out I can upgrade with ease!

I have been really impressed using the phone in bright direct sunlight and the screen is still legible. :)

so this sucks. my area just got 4G coverage in the past week. I'm on a 4G tarrif since Dec last year.
I have an unlocked red Lumia 920.

I cant use 4G!!!!!

wish the "update" from Nokia would hurry up and be rolled out

Why did you get a 4G contract when you didn't have any 4G coverage?

Um cos my contract was up for renewal and its how EE are. Plus got a good deal with the international roaming....

Mate, most people are in the same boat

I think I just enabled it.

Pull up your phone dialer.
Enter ##3282 and press call.
Select LTE (just LTE and nothing else)
It may say invalid in the status so pull up the menu from the bottom and select settings
Select 4G from the network type and enable ENS
You should now see 4G. Even though it doesn't display in the network connection settings, I now get the 4G icon in the 4G area.

Not sure if it actually is using 4G though.

It seems as a result of that, it stops you from making and receiving calls. Crap

I was just going to comment and say, it's all well and good switching on the LTE, but you need other bits to go with it. Primarily a function which automatically switches back to 3G when you try to make a call or send a text. This is because Voice-Over-LTE hasn't been implemented yet.

Which SW are you on?
