FINALLY!!! 4G on a sim free phone. 9 months AFTER I bought it! Nokia should pay me back the months I've been out of this functionality when the area had it and I signed up for the new contract for 4G

Call and SMS blocking come with GDR2, here it is. ;)

Not this **** again!
It's the retailers fault for mis-selling you the phone, and your fault for doing **** all to remedy the situation. Stop blaming this on Nokia.
 
Apart from O2 and 3, has anyone heard if vodafone are getting the 1020 as I have major gadget lust for that phone. Not helped by the fact that everytime I log into the website it tells me that my upgrade is due...
 
EE just sent me a text offer with a 50% off an accessory up to £100. Might have to pick up a second wireless charging plate...

Well its the end of Sept before its in the Uk so you might not hear anythign till then.

Im tempted, but have concerns over the size, will have to give it the pocket test and see.
The thing that blew me away with the 1020 was the needle in the haystack demonstration, the camera isn't quite as good in the 1520, but then again, it is double the 920 so I might be up for it.
Credit where credit is due, usually I have a new phone the day Im allowed to upgrade, it just goes to show how good the 920 is, as Im happy to wait and see what comes out, and android just isn't tempting me back
 
I've read some rumours on WPCentral that the Amber update enabled Bluetooth 4.0 on our Lumia devices. Some readers acknowledged this and said it was enabled on their device.

Has anyone got a clear answer on this? Is there any way to check this?

I thought about it, as I was thinking that maybe they would just bring a 1020 replacement out that was quadcore and 1080p, but then I thought it probably wouldn't be announced until MWC which will be too late for me so I guess Im getting a 1020 unless I go halfway and get the 1520 but I think that will be a tad too big for the pocket

I am pretty much sold on the 1020 personally, plus they make it in Yellow. :D
