Well there you go! i registered with Microsoft support to get answers, they asked my to verify my email address. Instantly that worked and because i used the same email it sorted my phone??!! I don't even care how or why . IT works now !! At last ..

Since the update, I've not passed below 50% with BT, WiFi, 3G+, and about 6 active background app. Apart from the weekend when I used it as Satnav...

There is one thing I hate about the new update, more of an annoyance. I play music via BT when in car and if I skipped a track when out and abouts. When I pop into the car and connect via BT, it'll always skip the current song to the next song.

e.g. Listening to Song A via earphones. Paused. Heading into car and don't want to start music half way through, I skip to Song B. When BT connects in car, pressing play via my BT play button, I get Song C instead. Only got this issue since Amber. No doubt I'll get over it soon... :p

just wondering what is the screen of the 920 like in real life? after seing amoled on samsug s4 I am not srue I could go back to LCD again. Anyone compared it to a oled screen?

also do you find the 920 very heavy to carry and use? at almost 200g its starting to get on the phablet weights.

I am torn between buying 920 in Uk or upping my price a little and buying a 925 from asia for about £270 or even going all out for the 1020 for about £450 from china again.

I dont want to pay £600 uk prices, they are just bloated, then again I dont get much in the way of warranty.

dam choices, take the risk or not

Cant speak for the s4 screen but i came from an iphone4s, then Nexus4 to the 920 and i think the screen is fantastic and easy to see in direct sunlight, something i thought the iphone couldnt be bettered at.

As for weight, its quite weighty but i actually like that, i guess im one of the types who equate heavy with quality. It doesnt feel any heavier than an iphone 4 in day to day use. As for which one to get, the best you can afford, i dont think you'll be disappointed no matter which version you get :)

thanks castor :)

Well thought i should update my situation.

After lots of reading and reviews I decided to try the 920. Unfortunately I did not have time to go into a store and see them in person so though Iill try the 920 and if its too heavy and bulky Ill just send it back and get the 925. I opened the box for the 920 and boy was i surprised, its an amazing phone not heavy at all and not bulky and quite slim. Compared to my HTC HD mini this thing is light years ahead. I prefer the screen on my brothers samsung S4 but its screen is very nice but 100% prefer its size and dimension over the Samsung S4.

The reviews on line made these out to be heavy and slightly thick, nothing of the sort. Samsung S4 feels like a toy, the 920 is like a real phone. Dont believe all what you hear on youtube, this thing is seriously impressive and the hardware could be better but for just over £200 you get a whole lot of phone.

Very impressed, I am 100% going to order the nokia 1020 and pass this onto my mother as she has had her phone since the dinosaurs were about :)

I have not upgraded my phone since 2010 just lost interest in them but I am so impressed by this phone specially the build quality compares to the S4.

I was a little gutted because on the day I bought this the Nexus 5 got released and was thnking of returning it. Honestly could not care if its better phone this 920 has impressed me so much that I am not going to change it.
