****The Official Note III Thread****

Well whoever it was needs to be fired! :p

Yup the GS 4 feels great in terms of design, shape and the ergonomic curves but just imagine how much better it would have felt "overall" if it had the same plastic casing as the one X, moto x etc. ;) I bet you if Samsung had used that same sort of finish as them, reviewers and end users would not have slated the looks/feel anywhere as much then! In fact they probably would have loved it more than most phones.......

If you're wanting a Note then you want screen real estate so you will be aware that it will be compromised to an extent in how it is held

Once you're used to using two hands (though I can use my Note II with one hand for many things) then the extra screen real estate makes it more than worth having to do so.

I'm holding out for one of these after having my Note 2 stolen in Barcelona a few weeks ago. Insurance is covering it, fortunately and aside the loss of data on the phone itself, I'm pretty glad because I can upgrade :D Really hoping it has metal chassis/thin-bezel sides & the UK version gets the rumoured octa-core stuff.. with a healthy dose of hopefully 3500+mah battery. I will be a very happy child.

Its all about profit!

The public have lapped up previous generation Galaxy plastics for years now, why change to premium materials now when it looks like the Galaxy S4 is going to break records.

Samsung has a premium tablet in the Tab 7.7. Whilst being relatively successful, I think Samsung realized that they can make their products cheaper to increase their margins.

Good specs there but I was hoping it would be thinner than the Note 2 so still waiting for final specs on size!

Whats the betting that the UK will only get the 16gb version?

I want the 64gb version tbh. Drop in a 64gb SD card and I'll be ok for a while. hell, I'd be reasonably happy with the 32gb version tbh.
