****The Official Note III Thread****

Manager at work wants to get the new Lumia 1520 and just said "The 1520 wipes the floor with the Note 3!"

We then compared the specs.. Yeah floor certainly wiped.

Just ordered a note 3 from retentions and am hoping I've done the right thing. Google are due to send me packaging to return my nexus 5 (video and sound sucks!).

I know I take ages to make my mind up, but the Nexus whilst flipping fast, consistently records rubbish videos and that's no good for me!

As long as you are content with the size of the note 3 you won't really regret it, bigger display, more ram, better speakers, superior camera/video recording, can't go wrong!
 
According to o2, I could have it at the earliest Thursday but am working away so I've gone for Monday next week. Not sure who they use as a courier but I'm hoping DPD (wishful thinking perhaps) as I'd like to make the most of my day off instead of waiting in all day!

The nexus 5 didn't feel big in my hand, I expected it to feel massive given I currently have a 4s. I'm hoping the note will sit there snugly too!

I text two handed anyway so that's no issue at least! Infact, I text more than I call nowadays.

No problem then, you've got the option of scaling down the whole screen or just the keyboard alone if need be anyways :p

I'm with Vodafone 4G and a mate at work is on same (different phone) but he gets 3 to 4 bars of 4G at work,I can't get 4G on my note 3 heck I've only seen 4G on it once and that lasted a few seconds. I can barely get a "g" signal.
Do you think it's faulty?

As I have posted in this thread, I do also. It is to do with a poor internal radio design, made much worse by Samsung's poor software. I've tried CyanogenMod and the signal is far, far better, but still not as good as other phones.
 
only thing putting me off buying one atm

at work and home- signal is marginal with my Iphone 4 - and as much as I'd like one of these - worried about reception - wouldn't know until I bought it :(
 
What SD cards are you guys using? Ive 2 32gb sandisk class 10's and both keep corrupting and coming up damaged which is a tad annoying.

Can anyone recommend a reliable card?
