CM11 made various changes to bluetooth features a while back, it improved audio playback a bit but it's still not as lossless sounding as apt-X - It never ever will be with any stock Android ROM until Google pay the license fee to support the codec so don't expect this to change any time soon or if ever at all.

Having said that, I no longer have an issue with audio quality over Bluetooth with the quality it is at now.

On my CM11 I still get random reboots when using Google Navigation but it's perfectly fine using Sygic, Navigator or other nav apps. The only real bug I can find. Oh and also the stylus stops working randomly until you reboot.

Edit*^^ Youtube streaming won't make a bit of difference. You will notice it best with lossless music only where detailed instruments and vocals come into play.

what version of CM11 you using mate?

have you tried Temasek's unofficial CM11?

What's the difference in Temasek's CM11 build? I can't spot anything that's standout! I'm using CM11 Nightly builds and update almost daily but use Temasek's kernels.

I use Flux theme via the CM11 theme engine and it looks/feels beautiful especially with the new animations and touch stuff going on. So smooth, so clean.
 
Think it's just a few extra bits added.

Il try flux. Do you get it from themes showcase? Via the themes section in menu. Then choose get more?
 
You don't really need the Showcase app and I found it a bit tedious as every time you browsed a theme and hit back it went right to the top and did not continue where it left off.

mrk, do you get the youtube issue on CM11?

watch a video using the youtube app, pause it, wait 10 secs, play it again

mine used to crash and had to reboot phone, known issue too

im currently back on stock now,
 
My Note 3 has just decided not to charge anymore, It last charged on Saturday.. The charger symbol no longer appears over the battery icon, and when switched off, a grey battery with a round circlular arrow appears..

So It's going in to CPW to have a look, could be without a phone for a little while, I put the connector under a microscope to check if anything was amiss, but the contacts look clean enough and no blockages. I've tried 3 leads and 3 different chargers, tried taking the battery out and back in to no avail..

Oh well, as long as it's repaired, it's still the best phone I've ever had..
 
Sounds like your battery has decided to go to mAheaven. Have you tried another battery from someone else's Note 3?

Shockingly, I don't know anyone with a note 3 to do that, I'll just have to let CPW have a quick look, hopefully they could try another battery quickly before sending it off for repair.
 
I would point it out to them of course as they are a high street retailer and we all know what they are like!

:) I know what you mean..

In a weird turn of events, I just left it plugged in overnight and I noticed at 6:00AM it suddenly started charging! I might order a spare battery for it anyway, as I presume batteries are not covered under Samsung warranty? Then when it inevitably stops charging again, I can at least check the obvious myself!
