** The Official Nvidia GeForce 'Pascal' Thread - for general gossip and discussions **

http://www.pcgamer.com/nvidia-pascal-rumors-point-to-three-gp104-gpus-in-june/

Like it says in the article its unofficial so time will tell.

Like it didn't say that this is another echo chamber article. This same rumour was posted on several other websites on Monday.
Kitguru posted same article I think last night.
We have these spazmatic websites which post any crap anytime as soon as possible and there are more cautious ones who still post same crap just few days later to see if anyone managed to debunk the rumours :D

Nvidia Launching Pascal Based Geforce Lineup At Editors’ Event – Reviews Expected to Go Live By Mid-May

Read more: http://wccftech.com/nvidia-launch-pascal-editors-event-may/#ixzz45nOcOumI

Consumer Pascal launch now 1 month away is a lot sooner than I thought, just weeks before Computex. Past Nvidia cards launched in May was GTX 670 on 10 May 2012 and GTX 780 on 23 May 2013.

Hope we will see some benchmarks leak soon before reviews in mid May. :)

So it is a journalist preview event.

If that constitutes a consumer launch then, by the same standards, AMD 'consumer launched' polaris months ago. Which is clearly untrue.

Regret clicking on a wccf link, yet again. So much unlinked conjecture by the writer. Let the reader see what they want to see, and let it take off with the wings of the reader's dreams.

Does anyone know if the new Pascal cards will implement this A-sync stuff in hardware?
Or they have another way around it, because reading the *Killer Instinct* thread GCN is becoming a real thing of concern for Nvidia.

If Nvidia really pulls of a mid may launch and I mean hard launch not a Fermi woodscrew 'it's coming very soon just you wait and see' launch, I'll be impressed.

this is it - even admittedly in the article they say its also been translated in to English - it sounds more like a press only event and that review samples might be going out mid-may, a launch at Computex with stock to follow seems more likely than an actual mid-may launch

100%. Just an event to build hype.
