Are these new prices super cheap or is there something I'm missing? That's if performance is indeed much better.
its interesting they've officially started to charge more for early adopters now
not sure how i feel about that but its a thing
more than the same tier of the previous gen? not sure how that equates to `super cheap`
Sweet. Will probably get a 1080 to replace my 980 if it is indeed 980 sli performance. Only 180w tdp as well.
From the dollar prices I'm guessing we are looking at around £500 for the 1080 and £320 for the 1070?
lol at all the people saying:
"You wont get 980ti performance for ~£300"
"The 1080 won't be faster than the 980Ti"
"Don't be stupid, no cards will have gddr5x until at least August/September"
So 1080 isn't equal to the performance of 980 TI SLI for the price of of a single 980 TI? I've only skim read, so I probably missed something
$699 is about 550pounds for base model?
yeh depends if you call that cheap i guess
i doubt the new 1080 will be any cheaper than a ti for a while yet
figurine of jenhsun in his leather jacket = buy!!!!
Yeah, wearing a leather jacket and holding up a board saying "double the performance of a Titan X".Alternatively, a "premium edition" with a small metal figurine of Jen Hsun and a cloth map (of nvidia offices).
Base model is $599 or £415. Or $699 for the shinier one.
So who's buying two?
its interesting they've officially started to charge more for early adopters now
not sure how i feel about that but its a thing
that is basically the new 970 tho
i wouldnt be watercooling that one!
£580 for the GTX1080 and £375 for the GTX1070.
The GTX1080 which AT says is 25% faster than a GTX980TI has 40% more TFLOPS than a GTX1070 and the latter is stuck with GDDR5 too,so is probably more bandwidth limited.
