** The Official Nvidia GeForce 'Pascal' Thread - for general gossip and discussions **

Just seen the classified. Very tempted by these :). Should be absolute monsters for overclocking.

Still waiting for some reviews from the lucky ones who will receive FE cards over the next few days before i come close to making my mind up :)

I think it may be two EVGA classifieds for me. 14+3 power phase design, triple bios :o. gimme gimme.
Gibbo any news when these will be available for pre-order? Seen them leaked but not seen them on the OCUK website yet.

I don't think I do now no....seriously the moments gone :p

I maybe tempted if the msi aero goes to 499 and I'll mod it with a corsair rad myself...

I really was big time. Being impatient again and getting ref or FE just because. made that mistake last time. This time nice custom pcb, dual 8 pin, triple custom bios.

Feel far better now paying the same or a touch more/less for a propper card that is designed to overclock. Waterblocks on these and well...:p

Will see me through to 4k 144hz easily.

Is this thread still going, I don't see what all the chitchat is about, if you have a 970/980 the 1080 of any variant is an excellent upgrade, if you have a 980ti or TX it's an expensive side step. I'm starting to think that 2100mhz is the max this card will run at no matter what power or cooler you give it. It was never intended to be a 1080ti - that'll come soon enough. For now people should be looking at a cheap second Ti/TX "if" they have a itch till the proper cards come out.

Nope. Especially not with those prices for the coolers I know are good and I'd buy (MSI Gaming 1070 is appauling price-wise). Most importantly, it doesn't hit that price to performance sweet spot our 970s did. For that, the best upgrade would be a 1070 or a 1080ti.

And finally... the 1080 is a good card for 60fps 1440p on a single card, but many of us want a bit more than that. I'm waiting for the 1080ti, both for a card to drive high framerate 1440p (without reducing settings) and for monitors to get cheaper.

970 owners are better off upgrading to the 1070 especially.
