Hmm, am I the only one using **** subs?:D

No I'm the same. I've got Foley? and someone called something like moyokolo 'cos that's all I could afford after my starting 11 :) Think they're both wolves.

Not a great idea. Did you play last season? You'll regularly need to use your subs, so much so I don't really see them as "subs". It really doesn't take long before injuries and random drops/rests make it hard to field a playing 11 when you've got cheap subs.

That's what the transfer's are all about ;)

Having loads of talent on your bench just confuses things especially when you've got players on your bench that do better than those who are in you're team - worst form of torture that!

My bench consists of Parnaby & Ferguson of Birmingham, Foley of Wolves (2 defenders and a midfielder) and my sub keeper Carson of West Brom

That's the only clues you're getting about my team though :D

You only get 1 free a week, and you'll want to use those more tactically than just replacing injured/resting players. Plus you won't know if a player's being rested until it's too late :).

Anyone who played last season will remember the winter freeze and how fielding even 5/6 players was a struggle, let alone if 3 of your squad are subs for their clubs.

You'll also want to keep your good players on the bench sometimes too. For example, why would you play a Man U defender when they're playing Chelsea, when your Stoke guy is playing West Brom. Good team doesn't guarantee a good result :).

^ Russ speaks the truth, there was a period where I had like maximum 8 players playing :( I cried. Twice.

Bite the bullet and dock yourself some points then, you look at the very highest scorers world wide every season and they can make 4/5 transfers a week and it pays off for them

Having keeper re-thoughts. At the moment got Gomes and Robinson, opinions please ladies? ;)

I've gone for Foster & Carson

Personally I dont see the point in spending loads of money on a keeper, it's almost always the cheapest ones that get the most points as well

06/07 David James
07/08 Mark Schwarzer
08/09 Thomas Sorensen

All 3 were great buys for me :)
