*****The OFFICIAL OCUK 2010/2011 Fantasy Football League*****

Surely if you're that bothered then don't read this thread until after? It's hardly surprising that people are going to be talking about results that effect their players.

By that logic anybody not wanting to know the score should avoid every football related thread until after MOTD as there's bound to be a link somewhere back to the result.

It doesn't particularly bother me but we've got spoilers threads for a reason and most people know to keep in game talk in there, including talk of FF.

I think its pretty unavoidable in this thread to be honest. Whoever complained in the first place really ought to know that the results are bound to be talked about here. Just avoid them, simple as.

I agree, in a thread like this you are guarenteed to get spoilers of some description e.g. players that did something worthy of earning points that could have significantly influenced the likely result like red card, own goal, goal, clean sheet etc etc.

Anyone know how serious Evra's injury is?

right guys i need some advice.
after reading this thread i decided to join up.
the only fantasy football i have done before is for the world cup.
and that was not great.

any tips?
dont worry, there wont be any competition from me :p
i just joined up tonight so i am already at a disadvantage.
my team is called luckotheirish.

After 1 week I think I need to make about 6 changes

Thats so i can get Drogba and Malouda in...instead of Essien and Anelka...but cos they are so expensive need to make a couple of other changes...

Cant believe I might use my wildcard after 1st game!

Does anyone know if you make 5 changes and use wildcard, if you want to make more transfers that gameweek, does it still use your wildcard? Or can you literally only use it once, even if in the same gameweek?

No more so than in the match day thread but we still stick spoilers in the thread title every week for god knows how long :p

It's probably best to just stick spoilers in this title too, if a friendly don isn't too busy.

I would possible just risk losing the 8 pts max if you can using wild card this early on does not pay off trust me i learnt that 2 seasons ago!

I lost eight points last night dropped Tevez/Anelka/Gerrard for Drogs/Torres/Petrov gives my team more balance imo

spent 8 points, had to get drogba in and nzogbia out. ive also took out rooney till he starts scoring which i think will be a few games yet.

So gutted I had swapped out Drogba for Tevez when Drogba was listed as injured!

Would have a great score with him in. Still did pretty well though with a 65, not a bad start to the season, tho in the league at my work an annoying amount of people have also chosen Malouda as their captain so they also did well from him!

The fact that Drogba's score has gone up by 0.1 is an utter ****, seeing as every other player's is rounded to 0.5. Going to have 0.4 points wasted if you transfer him in now.

I took Malouda out, not because he won't get points, but cos I dislike him massively. Is it hard scoring goals when you're 3-0 up at Stamford Bridge playing off Drogba?
