9.5+(0.5(9.6-9.5)) = 9.55 which rounds down to £9.5m
 
Sitting nicely top in all my leagues after the first week!

It's a marathon and not a sprint but my team looks like quite a consistent one. Here's hoping anyway

Not really, would rather do it now before prices rocket. Also you have another wildcard to use later in the season so you are no worse off then last season if you use it now.

Except you're restricted as to when you can use the second one, that's the difference. Absolutely no need to use a wildcard after one game unless you put 8 injured players in your squad before the season started.
 
Haven't joined the league, but I am running at 48 points so far.

Made my transfer for the week. I decided to oust Sidwell and put De Jong in instead. No doubt De Jong won't get any games now!

And since when do the most expensive players always get you the best points ;)

There is also a large element of luck along with players for and the fixture list.

No need to use it unless loads of your squad are injured or not starting.
 
Took the risk on 4 changes, but paid the 12 points, as I'm sure I'll have need of a wildcard later, and TBH some of my initial picks were too risky (too expensive for players who may not play very often).

My team is Arsenola BTW, I look forward to dukeing it out at the bottom of the league :o:cool:
 
I've gone for Fabregas and Arteta and got rid of Rooney. I hope Fab plays if he does he really should get loads of points. I got Berbatov to replace Rooney but it might not be long term. Had to use my wild card but might regret it later.
 
Rooney out, Drogba in. I won't be alone with that change I'm sure ;).

Couldn't afford Drogba, but Malouda looks like value for money. :o

Not sure Capt Fab will start, but I'd say he had a good chance of getting some game time.
 
I've taken a 8 point hit putting van persie, fabregas and chamakh in, surely 1 is going to get big points?
