So much sower grapes, typical of the "younger Generation" me me me attitude.

Well here is the flip side for others in my age group who have worked there asses off for 30 years under the common market and the EU this a big wake up call. Like the so called younger generation I voted what is best for me, not YOU.

Its actually quite warming that you think I have help doom a generation :) Which i havent.
But what if you have?

So if the remain won by 50.1% of the vote that's fine in their opinion and no call for a second referendum?

When did this forum turn so left?

agreed

watching TV this morning - some of the reasons some people voted leave

what a bunch of muppets

Tbh there are going to be extremes on each side. I saw a pair of girls say they like to go on holiday in Europe so they voted remain because they wouldn't be able to if we weren't in the EU. They were then shouting across at another friend who said he was undecided saying "you take lots of holidays in Europe, you should definitely vote remain!" There are idiots in both sides.

OR we close the tunnel and check every single ship docking in the UK and put the illegals back on a boat instantly as we won't have the Silly EU laws saying we can't report anyone.

Lol - simple solutions for simple minds

You have 0 say on UK matter you don't even live here and you troll every single thing about the UK in sport and political. I think a ban is in order to be honest.

Haha.....want to ban someone who says things you don't want to hear, classic :D

This tbh let's not back out now let's fight for better politics in westminster regardless of your affiliations to left or right.

People won't be interested in that.

Stop the immigrants was what this was about, along with backlash against an EU that have been scapegoated for every ill for the last 20 years whether they had anything to do with it or not.

If anyone truly thinks this vote would be a precursor to electional reform, they're barking mad.

No disrespect meant but now your vote has been cast, what is it exactly that you're planning to have happen? Or are you going to wait and see what the pollys 'do for you'?

I genuinely think that you've handed away far more than you've gained.

I was about to cast a leave a vote.

But realised I don't really have a clue with regard economics.

Read and watched so many texts and videos from either side.

tl;dr didn't vote

It is along the lines of an agreement that non-EU countries have. However EEA countries such as Norway can apply an emergency brake to stop immigration. It is the right of all EEA countries to do this and it is used frequently.

Can you show just how frequently it's been used?

He just comes out with constant trolling all over the forum.

Next you will say add him to ignore but that's just cowardly.

And if there is second referendum, and vote for Remain, they will cry tearing their clothes, if the others ask for the third referendum.

Denmark had referendums for the Euro. On both of them they voted to stay with the Crone.
Ireland had two referendums until they passed the treaty.

Sweden which has a booming economy, they do not want even to talk of replacing their currency. Hell, they are more likely the next country to ditch the EU.

They wish to claim asylum.
In the EU or not in the EU, when they arrive at our border (which is currently in Calais) we process them, and decided if we give them asylum or not.
This isn't going to change with the leave vote, just the position of the border.

Simple? ok..

The sheep has lost it's dog and now has no vision of the future. Run along sheep and let us wolves take over.

The irony of a post bashing the younger generation for being "me me me" whilst posting in a selfish and me me me manner.

Oh, and in your 30 years of working you haven't learnt to spell sour?

If the French want to spit out silly remarks us Brits are equally entitled to the same right..

Daniel Hannan on a news debate this morning

"Yes, we will be looking to take back some control of our borders"

Some, Daniel....Some? There's an adjective you weren't using before the vote....

The leavers have swallowed the lies all along and now we all have to suffer the consequences.

They went out in Burnley and spoke to 'the average person in the street'....omg, the reasons they all gave for voting leave....what a bunch of thick ***** :(

Can you demonstrate how this would work in practice?
Chap from Romania comes over, he is seeking work, we have 'applied' the brake.
He says he is here for holiday instead, enters country, we lose all track of him.
He goes and works on the farm anyway. Or has a N/I number from his last trip here, and can use that as we haven't any ability to revoke NI numbers.

Have you any information on when Norway used their brake, and how it actually functioned?
