can't believe we've effectively voted on a wing and a prayer

unlike general election etc - can anyone actually point me in a direction of a document that states what we've actually voted for ?

as in a plan ? detailed manifesto etc ?

surely people didn't just vote as "sounds ok"

Cornwall votes decisively for Brexit - then seeks 'assurances' that it won't lose the £60million a year it gets in EU subsidies

What the subsidies paid for by us from us?

I understand what you mean regarding our memberships subs (though the amount we will actually save is debateable)

But it seems Cornwall don't fully trust the UK government are going to give them that free money like the EU does...

And Britain wants to have the benefits of the club but not pay the fees. The EU are right The UK has been a lukewarm member at best, always wanting opt outs for this or that. So now we start to pay the price.... our credit rating is cut and petrol is due to rise next week.

If the EU didn't decide to expand into a supranational government and remained a trade block then we wouldn't be in a situation where we suddenly have to make a big decision like this with all the huge changes and implications.

Yes we would get the money back in to central government (or more correctly never pay it in the first place).

What they are worried about is for example Boris spends it on hospitals as he promised.

All those arguments about that £350 million and how much of it we get back includes an awful lot of British losers if the government does not do the right thing with the money.

And when has a conservative government done the right thing :)

They are very correct to be worried.

Social Media, it's the new mob justice lynching platform.

Shut it down, all of it, it does nothing but spread hatred and turn people into rage chimps who think they're special.

Get rid of Juncker and co, replace with elected figureheads who aren't crazed EU federalists, allow brakes on immigration when it is clearly at an unsustainable level and I'll be happy IN.

I have seen a petition floating about to try and force a second vote. Can someone explain if this can actually happen? If so, what in the **** is the point in voting?

My small brain is struggling to understand :(

We all know that was a lie but I think SOME of the money saved will filter into the NHS.

I don't think there'll be any money saved. The cost to replace what the EU provided plus the money they provided into the country and the expansion of our own public sector to cover the shortfall will probably be more costly than our membership.

I expect the 350 we will save will be sucked up by the increased interest on our national debt

Welcome to a new greater wave of austerity

of course they do

if there was enough public displeasure they'd have to reconsider

maybe a compromise of some description

So we can kick out all the polish that work and make contributions to this country which will then stop the English chavs who claim benefits and breed children to get more benefits, can then stop complaining about polish taking their jobs and get back to watching Jeremy Kyle in peace.
