I was a Remain, and in being so, I have validated that I am out of place in my local community of middle class oiks :/

Might put a bet on Scotland trying to be out of the UK before the UK is out of the EU...

Farage must be included in any new government now as well. Without him this brilliant sequence of events would not have happened.

SUCH a great day! Enjoy it everyone!

Some people are really angry that hateful people have potentially messed things up for everyone.

I think that's understandable.

I would have been angry if a bunch of left wing cowards too scared to really vote with their heart and voice their concerns to appease the social media crowd and get more likes, would have potentially messed things up for everyone if it went the other way

Noticed how I made a sweeping statement there? Not nice is it...

Not really being salty are we, you can im sure, alteast understand some of us are angry as a lot of people are immediately affected. Im sure it will calm down soon
Being angry, and arguing rather than debating, is being salty. :p

Of course I understand it and relate to it. Just surprising how some of the most eloquent debtors on the forum are now speaking complete fudge.

Replying to this thread with the pace it's moving is nearly impossible now though!

Good grief!

so what as a country do we need to do and what do we expect will happen in a nutshell ?

What do you mean?

Things will continue as normal for the rest of this year until the actual process of leaving is started by the next PM.

Investment to the UK has already and will continue to change over the next hours and weeks. Companies with lots of EU and international exposure will start seriously looking at their plans for adaptation (moving jobs abroad).

For the regular person, not much to do. Anyone who thinks their job is at risk should start planning I suppose?

The amount of people moaning is ridiculous, get a grip

The weather was pretty shocking this morning in Wales, I was half expecting people to blame it on the leave voters.

Well despite all efforts of scaremongering, threats, bullying, warnings, invasions, torture and the use of an MPs killing as tools to influence the electorate the people saw through all the lies of the remain campaign.

No, the campaign of fear, lies, scaremongering, division, and scapegoating won instead. What a pity "the people", as you put it - a 3% majority is hardly the people - didn't see through that instead.

It was a shockingly bad campaign run by both sides.
