That Tie doesn't look much better than the £45 one.
That's greatWhere'd you get the designs from?
Is that the retired 9492 that you are talking about? The new one seems much bigger and detailed in the cockpit area from a quick look?
I'd love both ideally, but don't want to miss out on R5 if it's eventually going to be discontinued. Lego store itself seems the only place to get it legitimately new, which seems like an indication it will be on it's way out soon? The new TIE will obviously be around for longer.
Yeah I just don't see it personally as being that great a looking model, I'd definitely get the R5 over that. You can then wait and see on the tie when you see one in store
Hard to tell with the UCS stuff, after all the death star was 2008 and the SSD was 2011. R5 is quite a popular model, I imagine it's going to be around for a while yet.
Ooo I hadn't noticed that the Star Wars sets had been given code names. Yeah its a safe bet that the £130 set will be the Falcon considering that's the price point of the previous one, and there isn't a Falcon currently on sale.
Just bagged a BNIB Red Five for £150
I'll worry about the TIE later in the year, maybe the next Xmas present to myself![]()
The bundle includes the game, a Lego toy pad, bricks to make a Lego Gateway, a Lego Batmobile and three minifigs: Batman, Gandalf and Wyldstyle.
