***The Official OcUK Lego Thread***

Guess I'll find out when the legs go on, if it doesn't hit the deck, we're golden.

If it does, it's going out the window. I won't be building it again, it's been an absolute pig.

Make sure you video it, as the opportunity to see it spontaneously collapse and ping apart into thousands of bricks is too good to miss :D :D

I can't believe you haven't glued it. For this scale model, the chance of damage through moving it or it living in a general environment is rather high. I assume no glass display case due to size?

Had a little tidy up of my sons playroom today. His Star Wars minifigs...

Missing only the ones he hasn't earnt yet, the Death Star figures and Republic Gunship figures and a few bounty hunters. I think we have all the Jedi covered now and all the main clones. Missing one scout trooper/stormtrooper helmet and that's it. I can live with that from a 5 year old. Quite surprising really how often he swaps heads!

And his Castle minifigs, random ones and the start of a marvel collection :D

A few of the Milano from Guardian's of the Galaxy taken on my Nexus Potato.

Took me about two and a half hours, listening to Awesome Mix Volume One on repeat. Decent build, very robust considering the number of joints. Hate the bloomin' stickers though. Pain in the rear to apply.

Danny have you thought of displaying all those minifigs? I put together a display case using an Ikea frame:

The figures are a little deep to put the glass in the frame, but that works well if you're going to be taking them out regularly.

I have all my complete series in these :) Glass fits fine with some careful positioning :)

I don't have a fancy display case for mine, but got the beginnings of a collection.

Also got the Ghostbusters minifigs, but haven't put them up yet.

Walked into random toy shop, walked out with all of this. Not bad for £160! He had 15% off everything, even the Scuderia truck, which was actually destined for an online order ^_^

From the impression Im getting you cant cant glue it until long after its built cause the instructions are so bad. Probably pulling bits off as much as he's putting them on.

That's a steal! The Le Mans racer is £99 RRP alone!
The Euro's gone through the floor recently remember, so your GBP prices are a rip-off!
But his retail prices are competitive - €100 for the truck and racer v €110 RRP.

Wow, bargain!

Can put the savings towards a new chair and cable management ;)
 Cheeky!
