Oh cool... I didn't even think to try lego stores - looked on line and there were none. Mine came from John Lewis.

Damn, now I'm going to have to mod it too!
 
The Unimog isn't a current kit any more is it?

Edit: neither the Unimog or the Excavator are listed on the Lego site any more, while the Crawler is the most expensive current kit and is listed under the new products section, so it looks like that's the current top model.

8043 Motorized Excavator - 04 Jul 10 - 10 Dec 12
8110 Unimog - 05 Aug 11 - now
9398 4x4 Crawler - 26 Jul 12 - now

So the Excavator is done, but interesting the Unimog is still available but not listed on the Lego site. Perhaps we might get something else big and shiny soon then aswell :D

Dammit Skeeter, stop browsing for Lego! Lol.

*Might* have accidentally ordered the power functions remote and another pair of motors, along with some ball and socket joints and then dismantled my supercar to work on a new chassis.

Stumbled across people doing Lego Truck Trials and it looks too much fun! :D
 
I am so Jelly! That's the next one on my list - you should pick up the Urukai army set too, as the piece of wall fits the end making it bigger - plus then theres more characters for both sides for the fight!
 
I can remember the moulded boards. The castles used to be built on them. Always thought they were brilliant for making trap doors. Think everything I built when I was younger had a trapdoor :P
