I know it looks large but I fear it would seem disappointing small when compared to models of x-wings and TIEs. Them seem to have many different scale sizes for the lego star wars stuff.

They have to really otherwise some things would be huge.
The X Wings and things are roughly minifig scale (i.e. the minifig is to scale if it were full size). The UCS Falcon is to minifig scale.
Just imagine how big the Death Star would be if it were to minifig scale!

SW B-Wing is to minifig scale too, its huge and way cheaper than i thought it would be *hovers over buy button*

The Super Star Destroyer is something like 19 kilometres long, it would be a bit unmanageable in minifig scale

Yeah, was expecting it to be well over 200 given how big it is.

Its only 1487 pieces, that to me seems pricey. Especially compared to R2D2 and the Imperial Shuttle. I do like how it looks and how the cockpit self rotates and its meant to be a challenging build, but its fragile according to the reviews, no mini figs either.

It does come with a scale Imperial Class Star Destroyer so you get a real sense of scale.

Bought and built the VW Camper today - very enjoyable to build. I also picked up a minifigure and I had the cool knight. I may purchase some more of these minifigures.

The wife is a mental VDub Camper fan so i know what i'll be getting her for her birthday, she squealed when she saw it in the lego store.

Might just go to the lego store at westfield
Doesn't look that big. Its less than 3x the pieces of the X Wing, yet is 5x the price.
Does look like a nice model though.

When i saw it in the window of the lego store, it was huge. Agree though, considering the piece count it is overpriced but the UCS models unfortunately command silly prices.
