A bag a day has left me with this big lorry parked on my desk! :D

Sadly the tail lift function isn't working (I suspect wrong gear size perhaps!) which means I'll have to unpick a lot of it to fix it :(

Needs more Pepsi Max.

Always! :D

Managed to fix the defect though - the gearbox section of the build happened to have one of those cross shaped pins as the holder for the gears which you can access just behind the cab. Quick push with a screwdriver to get it moving and the relevant section came apart! :D

Now I just need something to put in my tipper truck! :D

I should have this arriving in the next few days, it's been one set I've been waiting for ages to build, but some of the pricing out their is ridiculous. Unfortunately, it's going to be a while before i get to it, i still have the Porsche to finish, and the Bucket Wheel Excavator to start.

I'm quite impressed you managed to build it in such a small space. I'm knocking point off for not going full hardcore and mixing bags:D.

I got the Saturn 5 for xmas, well rather i got it for the kids...... and we built it a bag at a time, alternating with each child do they all got a go. Then we took it apart after a few weeks and put it all mixed up into the box. Really looking forward to building it in the correct way.

So I have a dilema.

The Snowspeeder is 35 quid off today, and its double VIP points.

I was going to get the Y wing, So do I get the Snowspeeder while its cheaper and has double points and then use points I earned on double on the Y Wing to make it cheaper.....?

How fragile is it?
Is it as bad as the UCS Falcon?

I would say yes... it's pretty fragile, but perhaps not as bad as the Falcon (mostly just because it's smaller)...

There are several panels on the speeder that are (quite cleverly) angled on hinges and then secured with rubber bands, or just wedged in place by the other panels, which does mean you have to be a little bit careful handling it

TBH it's not that bad, however it says it can be played with but I don't think it would last (maybe when the kids hit 20 lol). I have a 4 year old and an 18 month old so it ain't living on the floor.

Folks, Ive sold a few of my unopened Lego collection on Bricklink.
However I wanted to ask, am I able to sell sets which I have built already?
If allowed, am I expected to "break these down"?
Or just disassemble them and put the parts into a bag or something with the instructions?

With the weather being useless today my lad and I finished off putting together a set by Cada DeTech, a WWI motorcycle a sidecar. In terms of quality for a Lego clone/knockoff/alternative I'm massively impressed. The pieces are all branded like Lego, but with the Cada name and the quality of the instructions was maybe even better than lego themselves. The electronics, this is an RC model, are in fact also better than Lego as they work over radio rather than IR which I've always found to be a bit hit and miss.

As for the model itself, not bad, not bad at all. Similar to all the bike kits available over the years but the addition of the sidecar makes it a little more interesting and it's quite a solid build. Overall impressed and think I may now try and pick up one of the Cada DeTech tank kits for us to do next.
