***The Official OcUK Lego Thread***

If anyone is looking for a Lego Technic build that can be turned into all manner of other things then the Mack Anthem 42078 is pretty good option.

The main A and B models are pretty good out of the box but there are also some really nice Mods out there.

Like a snow plough.....

or a Forklift truck....

Wow. I just checked and found that the Mack has been retired. Going for silly money on Ebay now. Sorry about that.

How about the Porsche RSR 42096? That one has a really nice Mod done by someone who has provided a pdf of Lego quality instructions for free?

I personally think this should have been an official B model.

Couldn't imagine. Beggars belief TBH.

Can't say I'm a fan of Star Wars. Those huge things especially. Far too repetitive and holds no attraction. Never mind the space you need to display it.

I get why people might like doing it but it's not my cup of tea, at all.

Technic all the way here. And if it doesn't fit on an Ikea Billy bookcase shelf?

It's oot.

Slow but steady progress

Awesome. I like having a birthday on 4th May and being a Star Wars fan is fortunate.

Currently building the UCS Snowspeeder. Got a missing piece on one of the wings buts its the old movie reel type piece right at the back so easily sorted once it arrives.

So, got something to keep me occupied over the weekend. Decided to go with Big Ben first....

Just a few bags to go through.... and no clue why the number 2 bags was in their own little box.

Not that it really mattered, since I decided to go a bit nuts and open all bags at once and this is the end result.. and yeah, not hard core mode, not enough space on my desk to do that ! :p And no, don't want to sit on the floor either ! :p

Just started my falcon today, I’m sure I’ll be at it awhile.

Not sure on the A Wing, seems a bit expensive for the piece count and overall size of the model.

Finished the 2 above sets over the weekend and today was greeted with a message that these had arrived and was ready to be picked up. I think I might have a small problem.. but then again, it is a fun problem so maybe it's not a problem at all after all. :p

How long does it take the Lego Online store to take payment? I ordered the Lunar Lander at the end of March and it arrived on the 8th of April but my order just says shipped and Paypal just shows the transaction as pending waiting on them to complete it. Just seems an oddly long period of time.
