***The Official OcUK Lego Thread***

Yeah, that may well have at least something to do with it - maybe the 'military equipment' thing was just to save face.

Is a bit disappointing that Lego can get so close to releasing something like this that there are already boxes in some shops with a flaw like that. Think they need to have a hard look at their testing process!

Almost bought the Technic Lego 42114 6X6 Volvo Hauler Truck yesterday

Picked the box up in my local shop but thought i be crazy to buy it as i still have my Bugatti Chiron to finish building and the orange porsche 911 i haven't even started

The orange porsche has shot up in value recently

Bought a NES on lego.com first thing yesterday morning, along with the Dinosaur Fossils before they disappear. Will get another NES to build when I spot it on offer (which it inevitably will be eventually, somewhere). Also got a Cement Mixer for my son's 5th for £10 off.

Currently in Denmark with the in-laws and a local supermarket chain has all Lego on 35% off. The Lambo Sian is down to £225 but sold out immediately. Would've been worth a punt! They've got the Veyron 50% off, but already have one BNIB..

Grand Piano then?

I don't think so. I like the look of it. But I'd be buying it just for sake of it.

I don't play piano, I'm not very musical and it doesn't really fit with anything else thematically.

The NES I think just looks too clumsy. I dunno. I like the idea. Just don't think it works as a show piece

the Land Rover Technic? That looks great when I saw it yesterday. Half the price of the Lambo.

Leaning towards the sian myself. Mainly because of having the porsche (my favourite) and chiron. But want to wait to see if colour thing is corrected and for 20pc discount time

Other option is the lunar landseer

Tempted to pick up some 'hold for value sets'. Maybe the fossils

I still not built the Porsche yet. I was going to sell it but think I’ll wait.

Would be willing to take the Veyron at cost +postage if you can bring it back?

Nice, Mine is pride of place on the shelf. I didn't do any of the stickers etc though so she is as good as new :) - Won't sell it though :)

Yeah mines out on the shelf too.
I always buy two of the sets like this. Chiron, millennium falcon. I have several saturn vs as I thought at the time that one would rocket in value
