‘Gift With Purchase’ lego often run promotions where if you spend £75-£100 they send you a small exclusive set which isn’t available for purchase. some of them have been really good and it takes the edge off paying RRP instead of waiting for the likes of Amazon, JL, Smyths or Argos discounting it eventually.

Ah, I got a ginger bread house before, it was cool over Christmas but I think I threw it away now!

Some of the sold prices are bonkers I can’t see prices going up enough to make it worth the investment and it certainly isn’t worth £1000 to build. Should never have been cancelled but that’s another story!
 
I have completed a few Lego models since we went into Lockdown including the Porsche GT3 and the Porsche RSR, 5 little £15 cars (Mclaren, Porsche, Ferrari, Nissan, Audi Quatro), the bat cave, Central Perk, Avengers headquarters, a technics helicopter (with working winch), the Quinjet, the Tantive IV and currently have the VW Camper Van ready to be built.

I am also waiting on my pre-order of the Razor Crest.
 
NES bought. Piano not bought

All that mechanical stuff with a phone will be obsolete eventually. Not a fan of it
Looks beautiful though
 
I’ve decided to drive 60miles to a Lego store to pick it up instead, car needs a good run so what the hell. Now in a queue of like 30 people in front of me and only like 10 customers allowed on at 1 time in store. This is going to take a while.
 
Only 3 people in front of me and the guy at the front just said “I can see 2 boxes left”

Got website up ready to order just in case!

edit - that guy now in and he got both the NES and the piano! I can see the last NES picked off the shelf! :(


Edit again! I got one!

I overheard a girl talking to another staff saying she’s never seen it this popular. The piano is selling too plus the token star wars fan getting lots of star wars stuff. They also have all the Mario sets too.
