So what did people do when they moved house and had fragile lego sets? What's the best option to transport.

Stick them in boxes and put some soft padding around it or something? The one I am thinking will be the biggest problem is the Creator expert Ferris wheel.

I'm sure this has been said before. But Lego is as much an adult brand now, as it is for kids.

I tend to only collect Star Wars Lego. But I did get the Ducati Technic the other day for £30. :)

Lego is so Diverse these days and I love it. Sadly my wallet hates it. :(

Take them apart, similar pieces bagged together and back into the box.

Rebuild when you get to the other end.

I made a special trip for the millennium falcon! I couldn't face taking it apart! :D

Seems a bit extreme.

Was going to get a glass cabinet to put them straight in to.

well it depends how fragile they are and how easy they are to move. Some people wrap them in cling film and just make any repairs as needed. That works well for models like the mustang or the other cars etc. I’m not sure how that would work for something like the Ferris wheel and if you can get a box big enough to put it in.

As said further up, taking them apart. Then have something to do on a rainy day ! :p

Mostly true, although they discriminate if you are over 99 :(

This is the one thing I am dreading is moving at some point, I have a lot of lego (about 30 just in the room I am in, and that is the small office), in total I must have a good 70 or so models (yep inc the big Falcon).

Proper First world problems.

Mine had all been on display for years, taking up significant space in the living room. When we moved 3 years ago I took the decision to break most of it down fully, each set bagged in ziplock bags and packed into plastic crates with the intention of getting to enjoy building it all again.

Most of it is still as it was when we moved due to not really having anywhere suitable to display it just yet :(

It’s the adults who play with their Lego are the ones to worry about.

Mind you, when I finished Barracuda bay, I was tempted to have a little pirate battle on the upper decks. Then I realised I’m 40 years old :p

Depends on the set. something like the taj mahal you can easily dismantle it and move it. The rollercoaster on the other hand is massive, i'd probably do a trip with that in the back seat.
