So what did people do when they moved house and had fragile lego sets? What's the best option to transport.

Stick them in boxes and put some soft padding around it or something? The one I am thinking will be the biggest problem is the Creator expert Ferris wheel.

I used a combination of large carboard boxes, bubble wrap/packing tissue paper and the clear storage boxes from the range recently. Typically one set per box.

Minifigs were wrapped in bubble wrap and put in the small disposable clear plastic food containers.

However, all my lego went to a storage unit during the move. This meant I could very carefully transport, store and relocate it all. Well worth it imo.

Even a modest collection takes up a surprising amount of space in boxes.

It’s the adults who play with their Lego are the ones to worry about.

Mind you, when I finished Barracuda bay, I was tempted to have a little pirate battle on the upper decks. Then I realised I’m 40 years old :p

I have a confession to make. I haven't built most of what I have. But what does get built is for display purposes only. :p

I just don't have the room to display it sadly. :(

I will be building this soon, however.

I'm a good bit into building the piano.

I've just slotted the keys inside and they're now all over the place, half of them are level and the left hand side keys the end 2 or 3 just do not 'spring' back up if you will.

I thought maybe it's an issue so carried on and built the surrounding which made no difference.

If I take the keys out and have it sitting on the desk they're all fine and bounce back up.

Anyone else have this issue?

That is fine, and how it is meant to be, just carry oni with the instructions :)

Does anyone have the Discovery shuttle? After taking 3 years (!) to build the Super Star Destroyer I'm now wanting to get some more sets, and managed to get the Saturn V and the ISS but the shuttle is pricey, and it seems to be sold only through Lego stores/lego.com where it doesn't seem to go on offer...
