I always said sub 500 and il pay. But just realised that it was actually that at Zavvi on black Friday and I didn't get it . 500 just might still be too much for me.

Received the Porsche 911 RSR, 42096 as a Xmas gift.
This is my first ever bit of Lego so I didn't know what to expect and being a fair bit older than the 10+ age hah!

Spent a few hours per day building and I'm well impressed. Just to work out what to do with it once it's done lol

Sticking it on the wall is the way to go. You’ll get hooked and start buying Lego like crazy. I have way to much.

Got given the GotG ship for Christmas. Haven't been able to get a look in (I get summoned to do the stickers) as the 5yo has built it all so far. Onto bag 6 doing a couple a day. Advertised as a 14+ set.

Hah yea, I'm already looking at that Lamborghini Sian one! Got to resist...

I noticed a few mods for lowering the height and fixing the roof rail gap which I might do before mounting somewhere in the cave lol

Got the NES for Xmas, looks just right on the shelf blending in with the other consoles now.

Just finished building the Statue of Liberty. It was a really fun build.

The kids have both had Lego Harry Potter Advent Calendars this year. 2019 and 2020. Both really good although the 2019 Yule Ball inspired one is the better of the two. The Christmas Feast one was the weaker of thhe two with more filler pieces but honestly both were excellent. I've got the 2021 calendar tucked away and will give them 2021 and 2022 clanedars next year.

Go the kids the Legoo HP Great Hall and Astronomy Tower for Christams and one of the relatives got them the Clock Tower. Having built the Astronomy Tower and Clock Tower since Christams I can say both are lovely sets and a lot of fun to build together.Got the Whomping Willow squirreled aaway for a suitable occasion and that will complete the Hogwarts set.

I got the big ECTO-1 back in August and built it not long after and just today got the chance to photo it.

I've got it too, on bag 10 now, not putting on the rust stickers also.
