How do argos get all these amazing deal?

This isn't lego.. But I cannot remember the last time I ordered anything from amazon. How are these UK retail physical outlets beating amazon on price?

Asda and argos in particular

Yeah seemed a good deal?

I don't do a lot of Lego, but when I do I order from JL because my GF gets 25% off. Surprised Lego hasn't nipped that in the bud in a way like you can't get discount on Apple products etc.

But the typewriter is "exclusive" to Argos, though at that price it seems really tempting
 
So annoying they can’t wrap the clear canopy separately to stop it getting scratched!

It would seem several plastic containers are most useful, especially with cats that will steal and hide all the parts :p

I bought it last year (at full price ). For that price well worth a purchase.
Quite a lot to it and a few fiddly pieces that needs a bit of concentration.
Looks very good when finished though.

Just got the T Rex Breakout in their sale as well. Fairly straightforwar, but looks brilliant with the T Rex Rampage set as well!
 
My Optimus Prime dispatched today, after ordering at 25 past midnight on release. Really looking forward to it.

Just finished Darth Vader and Boba Fett in the last few weeks, both of which fun builds. Up to 4 of the helmets now.
 
Seems quite easy to request replacement parts. I want my scratched canopy to be replaced. No idea why it isn’t packed separately.

Will probably pick up the razor crest and light cruiser next. The falcon is definitely on my horizon at some point.
 
Saw the lego creator viking ship and had to hide my wallet from myself. Trying to get to the point we sell off 90% of our lego not buy more but it looks great and I always like the castle type stuff over the Star Wars and Marvel.

When I see the Rancor alone going for £100 I'm glad I lent on my son to look after it all :D
