***The Official OcUK Lego Thread***

That’s a skip from me, classic space just doesn’t hit the nostalgia box for me at all. While it’s meant to look classic, Lego has evolved to be much more intricate in the last two decades.

Edit: surprised no one posted about the new huge castle set, that always seems to be big with adults looking for nostalgia.

Edit2: I think I counted 21 mini figs

Getting that castle. It's awesome.

Is that the yellow one?

No, it's the grey one 6080 was the model. Part of a 4 car load dump of Lego from my Parents that I sorted for my Brother and I. Most is 80's/90's stuff, technic, train sets, Star Wars, basic city stuff and loads of random sets/parts etc, took me nearly three weeks to sort the majority of it.

Thinking about selling my porsche 911 gt3 RS. Not sure what this set will top out at though.
Been keeping an eye on this over last 6 months or so, just a month ago it was pulling £300 used on ebay, this weekend, two sets sold for about £360

I personally think this is the sweet spot and time to shift it.

This is a new boxed one.
It's currently shuffling around 600+.

Insane really as I paid 200

Yup, mine was £180 - still happy to take double that for it used though, it's just gathering dust right now. Have told missus to try our luck via FB marketplace at 300 first though.

My built one I couldn't sell. Its probably my favourite lego model I own.

But then black and orange are my favourite colour pair and I always wanted a porsche! :D

My favourite is my UCS Millenium Falcon but it's another one gathering dust and it's really hard to find an actual place for it to sit as it's deceptively huge, that's likely to go in next few weeks as well.

I'm having exactly the same issue. MF is sat in the living room in a corner horizontal.

And basically I think I have to wall mount somewhere. If it wasn't such big build I'd probably have taken it apart.

I do not like how grey it is. Reason I didn't buy the destroyer

I've significantly cut down lego buying due to space.

I hit this years ago...last significant build was the Original Tumbler, then it just sat there gathering dust for a few years.

Mine is the lunar lander.

Went through a phase building all time. Last build I did was the space shuttle as it was amazing. But that's only one in probably a year
