***The Official OcUK Lego Thread***

Wow!

Do you have a favourite build?
Not a single one but some of the favs
  • Obviously the Star Destroyer...I means its MASSIVE at 12k pieces so a real challenge putting that one together
  • All the NASA stuff with exception of the IIS
  • Technic CLAAS XERION tractor and Land Rover
  • And probably all the various Hoonigan cars/trucks from the Speed Champion sized upto the big 1/8th one on the rear wall.
Which reminds me I've still got a 1/8th Hooligan truck to build.

Was that star destroyer a proper lego set or is it a mock then as that's a lot of pieces (double current ucs models).

A new Executor just went up for pre-order, its a more sensible size rather than UCS this time!

Like the Tie Bomber, it's overpriced too.

The Bomber is dropping in prices in sales etc now though, so wait and see.

Started doing the Mighty Bowser build with my son but quickly became apparent it's a little advanced for a 5 year old so he's asked me to build it for him. So disappointed that I have to sit and do this myself - honestly ;)

I know it's an 18+ set but didn't realise how tricky some of the internals would be for him to do.

I have the Tallneck set which I’m hoping to put together with my 7 year old. Fingers crossed it’s not too hard for her!

I was going to offer the Pet Store to my sister to give to her daughters (8 and 5), but the box says 16+? And she thinks it's too difficult.

Surely it's quite straight forward too, it's not like a technic build.
