***The Official OcUK Lego Thread***

I've been building up models in storage and selling them to generate some wedding money - bit weird building lego (prefer this method to confirm part completion) then immediately breaking them down again!

Only 65 or so sets to go!!

Yea i've sold a couple of them and made some money over retail at least, I think the most expensive one in storage is the Super Star Destroyer - but that's a big build so holding off atm!
Why I have no issue spending on lego. If you need it, it holds or increases it's value.

Got the gf walle set on release. Should have bought 10!

I made over 3x retail on Wall-E - it is crazy how much they go up, Firestation was like 2.3x too.

It can be a pain to sell though - get a lot of time wasters; ebay tends to be best but then you suffer from the fees over facebook/private groups.

Crazy how much minifigures are worth too - I have a Darth Revan which is like £200 and a few others ~£100 (Boba, Darth Malgus etc). Darth Revan i only opened last month or so too from its polybag - its in a custom little display on my shelf (not selling!).

I missed out on the being, was a bit before my obsession hobby started :p . I don't seen some expensive figures, are they normally in fits then as I've seen a few on ebay where the figs have been removed.

Wall-E is a set I bought several years before I actually started collecting lego. I found that and a BB8 for like £22 each in Tesco and grabbed them (My memory is fuzzy so I honestly have no idea if it was at the same time or different times).

Was curious about the building blocks kits on Aliexpress so a while back picked up a Wall-e for under £20 delivered.

Can't compare it in-hand directly to the Lego version but it was great to put together with clear instructions and looks great on the shelf.

The copies see plenty good enough imo. I have a copy of the ucs imperial shuttle. And it's my favourite star wars set! :D

Right, haven't built the S-IVB and spacecraft stage for it yet so borrowed the one off the top of my Saturn V. But here's my Mercury-Redstone, Mercury-Atlas, Gemini-Titan and Apollo-Saturn IB together  Please excuse the dust on everything :o
