And nigh on IMPOSSIBLE to source in a UK layout. Trust me, I tried.

Same as, they're rare as hens teeth. The anoying thing is my dad was a programmer in the 80's and said that he worked in an office (80-90 people) where everyone used one and they all got thrown away when the office moved .

There's one on the bay at the moment, bidding STARTS at £60 + £10 delivery and there's still 6 days left on it. Not sure if I want to get in a bidding war with some keyboard nerd tbh...Might be worth a little snipe though I guess.

As for the macro/media keys there is a programme called Autohotkey that can bind them to certain key combinations I think, I've never tried it though I just use my n52te .

I bought the razer black widow ultimate in april and absolutely love it. So nice to type on, great for gaming, feels really heavy and well made.

I'm thinking of taking the plunge at a WASD keyboard: http://www.wasdkeyboards.com/. I like the idea of full customisation. It is a 104 keyboard though and not certain about import tax.

Don't know if this has already been said, but iirc the Das Keyboard II is a remake of the Cherry G80, which you can get over here for around about £50. UK layout and everything.

Better than a g19 you find?

I'm getting pretty bad pains at the base of my palm using my g19, but my other hand is also ****ed using a mamba so i'm sure it makes little difference.

I've just gone from a Raptor K1 with cherry blacks to a Filco Majestouch-2 Tenkeyless with cherry blacks.
I could never go back to using a non mechanical keyboard.

Could you not just customise the keys text, to make it look exactly like a UK keyboard?

I'm waiting for the Mionix Zibal 60, Cherry Blacks, 6 key rollover, green backlighting with brightness adjustment and a WASD only setting. Looks a nice keyboard, the backlighting's essential for me.

That keyboard is good, but it depends on what type of gamer you are with the 6KRO. It is also unlikely to be stocked in the UK for less than £120 which might be an issue for you. There are other backlit keyboards for less.

Key type man. Really liking the Filco keyboards but just confused as to what switch to go for. Either that or the SteelSeries 6Gv2

Gaming but a little typing then i would go for blacks.

Gaming & a lot of typing then i would go for browns.

Browns sound like the best all-rounder tbh, think I'll put an order in for a Majestouch-2 with Browns! Wish the replacement WASD keys were a deeper blue rather than a sort of lavender haha.

Hi mate, sorry about the delay - I much prefer this although I really miss the LCD if I'm honest as I've had a G15/19 for about 5 years.

Go for the red keys instead.
